Bespoke Jewellery at Adrisya: Our Process & Timeline Explained

Bespoke Jewellery at Adrisya: Our Process & Timeline Explained - Adrisya

There is something profoundly special about wearing a piece of jewellery that was made entirely for you -designed around your vision, crafted to your specifications, and finished with your story in mind. At Adrisya, bespoke jewellery is at the heart of what we do. Here's a transparent look at how our bespoke process works, from the first conversation to the moment you hold your finished piece.

Why Choose Bespoke?

Ready-to-wear jewellery is beautiful, but it's designed for everyone. Bespoke jewellery is designed for you. It means you choose the stone, the setting, the metal, the proportions, and every detail that matters to you. It means the piece fits your finger perfectly, suits your lifestyle, and reflects your aesthetic in a way that no catalogue piece ever could.

With lab-grown diamonds, bespoke jewellery is more accessible than ever. The savings on the stone can be redirected into exceptional craftsmanship, allowing you to invest in a piece that is truly extraordinary.

Step 1: The Discovery Consultation (Week 1)

Every bespoke journey begins with a conversation. We want to understand you — your style, your occasion, your budget, and your vision. Come with references if you have them: images you've saved, sketches, or simply a feeling you want to capture. There are no wrong answers at this stage.

This consultation can happen in person or virtually, and it's completely complimentary. By the end of it, we'll have a clear brief to work from.

Step 2: Design Proposal (Weeks 1–2)

Our design team takes your brief and develops a proposal: detailed sketches or CAD (computer-aided design) renderings that show your piece from multiple angles. We'll present 1–2 design directions for you to review, and we'll refine based on your feedback until the design feels exactly right.

At this stage, we'll also present stone options -blab-grown diamonds that meet your specifications for cut, colour, clarity, and carat - so you can see exactly what will sit at the heart of your piece.

Step 3: Approval & Commencement (Week 2–3)

Once you're happy with the design and have selected your stone, we'll confirm the final specifications and timeline, and request a deposit to begin production. This is the moment your piece officially comes to life.

Step 4: Crafting Your Piece (Weeks 3–6)

Our master craftspeople bring the design to life using a combination of traditional goldsmithing techniques and modern precision tools. The process includes:

  • Casting or fabrication of the metal setting
  • Stone setting - the most delicate stage, requiring exceptional skill
  • Finishing - polishing, texturing, and final quality checks

Throughout this stage, we'll share progress updates so you can follow your piece's journey.

Step 5: Quality Review & Certification (Week 6–7)

Before your piece reaches you, it undergoes a thorough quality review. We check every prong, every surface, and every detail against the original design brief. Your diamond's certification documents are prepared and packaged with your piece.

Step 6: Delivery (Week 7–8)

Your finished piece is delivered to you in our signature packaging, accompanied by your diamond certificate and care instructions. If you're collecting in person, we'll take you through every detail of the finished piece together.

Typical Timeline Summary

Most bespoke pieces are completed within 6–8 weeks from design approval. For complex pieces or during peak seasons (wedding season, Diwali), we recommend allowing 10–12 weeks. If you have a specific date in mind - an anniversary, a proposal, a wedding - tell us upfront and we'll plan accordingly.
